John Alex Studio LLC, doing business as John Alex Studio, warrants to the original purchaser that its jewelry will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 90 days from the confirmed delivery date, subject to the terms below.
WHAT IS COVERED
This limited warranty covers verified manufacturing defects that become apparent during the warranty period, including a failure in construction or assembly attributable to the original workmanship.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover normal wear; tarnish, oxidation, or patina; natural gemstone characteristics or handcrafted variations; accidental damage; loss or theft; misuse; improper care or storage; impact; stretching; chemical or water exposure; allergies, sensitivities, or skin discoloration; or repair, resizing, or alteration performed by anyone other than John Alex Studio LLC or its authorized service provider.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Email studio@johnalex.co within the 90-day warranty period and within 14 days after discovering the issue. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. Proof of purchase is required. Do not send jewelry until you receive return authorization and instructions.
OUR REMEDY
If John Alex Studio LLC confirms a covered defect, we will first attempt to repair the piece.
If repair is not reasonable or possible, replacement or store credit is available only when the original jewelry is returned with at least 90% of its original gemstones and 100% of its precious-metal components. This return threshold does not apply to gemstones or precious-metal components that John Alex Studio LLC determines were lost as a direct result of the verified manufacturing defect.
When the return requirements are satisfied, we may replace the piece with the same or a comparable item or issue store credit equal to the original product price. John Alex Studio LLC will select the appropriate remedy, subject to rights and remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
SHIPPING
For approved claims within the United States and Puerto Rico, John Alex Studio LLC will provide return instructions and cover reasonable standard shipping to and from the studio. For approved international claims, the customer is responsible for shipping the item to the studio, and John Alex Studio LLC will cover standard return shipping. Expedited shipping, duties, taxes, and unauthorized shipping costs are not covered.
AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD
Repair service may be available for a fee after the warranty period, depending on material and component availability. Contact the studio for an assessment before sending the piece.
LEGAL RIGHTS
This limited warranty gives you specific rights and does not replace, restrict, or exclude any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable consumer law.
